In Orthodoxy, he is called *Archistrategos*, meaning "Commander-in-Chief of the holy host of Angels and Archangels."🌿

🕊️🛡️ The name "Michael" literally means "Who is like God?", emphasizing that no one is equal to God.

🪽🕊️🛡️ In the Old Testament, Michael’s name appears in the Book of Daniel (10:13, 10:21, 12:1), where he is called the "great prince" who stands for the people of Israel.



















🪽🕊️🛡️ Christian tradition identifies him with several angelic appearances:
to Balaam,
to Joshua,
as well as the destruction of the Assyrian army
and the salvation of the Three Youths.

🪽🕊️🛡️ In the Epistle of Jude, Michael, while disputing with the devil over the body of Moses, dares not pronounce a judgment of reviling.

🪽🕊️🛡️ In the Book of Revelation, he and his angels fight against the seven-headed dragon and cast Satan down to earth.

🪽🕊️🛡️ In Orthodoxy, Michael is venerated as the protector of the souls of the departed; the souls of Abraham and the Theotokos were entrusted to him. Prayers for healing are also addressed to him—linked to his victory over evil spirits—as well as prayers for aid during difficult times and for protection on long journeys.

 🇯🇵💃 Jun Takahashi, the Japanese fashion designer, brought a mesmerizingly enchanting atmosphere to his Undercover Spring/Summer 2024 collection, titled “Deep Fog,” at Paris Fashion Week. Set in a parking lot, the show featured a series of tulle-wrapped chandeliers lying on the floor as if they had fallen from the ceiling, creating a surreal and almost fairytale-like backdrop. Opera music accompanied the models as they walked the runway, sporting a mix of flowing monochrome outfits and neon yellow sweaters, followed by vibrant suits and coats with giant prints. A few Undercover pieces even echoed the black tulle that wrapped around the chandeliers.
