 🖌️🎨 Аrtist Timothy Easton was born in 1943 to a well-known British art collector. Timothy drew from childhood, after graduating from high school he entered the Kingstown College of Art, and later - the famous London "Heatherley".
While studying at "Heatherley", Timothy Easton was awarded the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Prize and, as a scholarship holder, lived and studied in Italy and Northern Europe for a year.
Returning to his homeland, Timothy Easton painted portraits, completed a number of serious commissions for figurative paintings in the Church of the Good Shepherd in Talworth and the Theological College in Salisbury.
In the early seventies of the twentieth century, Timothy Easton decided to take up sculpture and for the next fifteen years created bronze sculptures, which were exhibited with great success at numerous exhibitions in the UK and abroad.
In the 80s, Timothy began renovating his house and tidying up his garden.

🦪 🇦🇪 Farah Al Qasimi, an Abu Dhabi-based designer and artist, has created an installation of giant rainbow oysters on the seashore, a sonic ode to the sea. Farah Al Qasimi has named it Homesick. The cluster of iridescent oyster shells echoes with the hum of longing along the Abu Dhabi waterfront. The oysters are made from machined aluminum, coated in shimmering paint, and create a soundscape that evokes the ingrained relationship between the Gulf people and their waters. “Homesick honors the pearl diving tradition that has shaped the economic and cultural landscape of the Emirates,” says the artist. Speakers embedded in each pearl emit a soothing five-channel composition that conveys songs of longing, reimagining the traditional chant sung by pearl divers’ wives to wish for a safe return home.
