After graduating from Kanazawa College of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1964, the young artist moved to America.
Kinuko works in a variety of styles, but she is particularly drawn to fantasy and folklore themes, which resonate with her rich imagination and aesthetic sense.
Kinuko Craft's meticulously crafted work has received over 100 industry-recognized awards, including three silver medals and three gold medals from the Society of Illustrators. She is considered one of the finest illustrators working today.

Кinuko Сraft has illustrated eight picture books (fairy tales and classical mythology) for children and young readers. She is currently focusing her efforts on fantasy book covers.
She has also created theatrical posters, postcards, and designed covers for many magazines, such as Time, Newsweek, and National Geographic.
