“Art is a free bird, which, when it wants, soars in the heights, and when it wants, it descends to the ground, and there is no force in the world to fetter it or change it.”

 ✍️D. Gibran

They soar, are harmonious, similar in impetuosity, grace and beauty.

A horse is one of those animals that is not difficult to find in paintings, and indeed in art in general, because it has entered our lives so strongly. This subgenre of painting is called ippic (from the Greek hippos - horse).

Due to scientific and technological progress, starting from the 19th century, the popularity of these animals has been declining and is more of an aesthetic nature.

On the canvases of famous (and not so famous) artists, it is interesting to observe changes in clothing, the shape of the saddle and the appearance of accessories for women's riding.
